RIDEMAKERZ!!!

Matt and I decided to take Kai on a special date today. Since Blake has been here we haven't been able to spend a whole lot of quality time with Malakai especially since Blake's favorite activities for 4 months have been nursing and crying. ;) He is doing better these days however still up every 2 hours in the night....anywho.... We first went to BJ's (our fav) and devoured a Peanut Butter Pizzookie! YUM!!! Next we surprised him by taking him to Ridemakerz at West Gate. Very cool place. Similar to Build A Bear but instead you build your own car/truck. Malakai LOVED it! Not a cheap date, but hey you only live once! Blake was very happy to see me once we arrived home (even though he does adore his Aunt Mimi) and squealed the rest of the day. I love my boys!

Note to Sissy: Malakai has officially allowed us in the "boys club" after today.

Daddy Time!

Since July Matt has been back in school and very busy. He gets 2 days off between work and school every 14 days. The boys and I miss him so much! Today was his 1st official day off for fall break and Blake got to enjoy some daddy play time. Matt is determined that Blake is going to say "da-da" first. I will be having a talk with Blake about that! Thanks to my sweet husband for working so hard at everything he does. We are so thankful and proud!

Caught Red Handed

Well it looks as though I may have a thumb-sucker this time! Blake is such a joy and has been so much happier since I have been supplementing more. He babbles, squeals, laughs and smiles and we are enjoying his little personality! Now we just have to get him to sleep through the night. ;)

Student of the Month

Malakai has been working very hard in Kindergarten and was rewarded by receiving the Student of the Month award. We are so proud of him and can't believe how big he is getting. A few days after the assembly I was able to help at his "apple party". It is such a blessing to be able to be involved with his school activities now that I am staying home. One of the other moms was really trying to get him to try apple pie. What a picky eater!

Seriously Cool....

Tonight Malakai was talking to me about costumes and before bed he said with his beautiful brown eyes wide as can be, "If Sissy was here with me and Blake, together, it would be SERIOUSLY COOL! She could be Princess Leia, I could be R2D2, and Blakey could be Chewbacca!" Why he didn't say Darth Vader or Luke...I have no idea. ;)
It was so adorable and I am so thankful that he remembers that Kambrie will always be a part of our family...even in heaven.
